Solar Energy Projects

We have worked on a wide range of projects. Our commercial experience includes developing systems for dairy farms, backpackers, hotels and hospitals. We have worked in Europe as well as New Zealand. A small sample of these projects are listed below.

Project Name: Grey Elephant

The solar panels on the roof captures enough energy to halve the energy requirements.

Location: Ludwigsburg, Germany
Requirements: To transform an unattractive 142 apartment concrete block with few redeeming features into a low energy consumption elegant building with great appeal.

This was achieved by insulation, double glazed windows, and installing a 250sq/m solar hot water system on the roof. The running costs of the building were cut half.

Project Name : Langham Hotel

Location: Auckland City
Requirements: Install a solar hot water system to provide an average consumption of 10,000 litres of hot water per day. The energy savings over the year are projected at 85,000 kw/h. This results in significant carbon emissions avoided at 20,000 tonnes of carbon per year.

Project Name: Devonport Apartments

Location: Devonport
Requirement: A solar hot water system to provide an average consumption of 10,000 litres per day.
